Broken Pipe causes flooding in basement play room

The damage to this basement playroom was completely unexpected.  Apparently, a plumber had rigged a temporary patch on a water supply line years earlier, but neglected to return and finish the repair with a proper permanent solution.  Eventually, the temporary solution wore through sending water flooding through the ceiling and splashing down onto the carpets.

In the "Before" picture you can see Isaiah, one of our highly trained technicians, using a thermo-hygrometer to determine how much of the ceiling was effected by the water.  The "After" picture shows the level of care our technicians used during the restoration process.  Notice that the toys have been carefully removed from the room, the television was dismounted and stored for safe-keeping and plastic containment was used (on the left side) to keep humidity from escaping up the open stair-well.
