"Flushable" Wipes caused sewer backup

We have been noticing an increase in sewer backups caused by so called "flushable wipes".  Don't be fooled by what the packaging says - these wipes are causing damage to homes all around the Edison / Woodbridge area

This bathroom in a basement rental apartment flooded with sewage after the upstairs tenants had been using the wipes for some time.  SERVPRO of Edison was called in to assess the damage, clean and sanitize the apartment.  The sewage water flowed out the bathroom door and into the surrounding rooms.  SERVPRO of Edison extracted the standing water, performed a heavy cleaning of the floors and then sanitized the effected areas.
